It’s caused much merriment recently in the Lovell household, Mrs Lovell has moved into a new role which has necessitated her having to a purchase a burner phone.
I’ll keep the story short but’s she’s got several clients that she doesn’t want to give her mobile number to.
What causes even more hilarity for my children is that I’ve owned one for years.
For clarity I do not use it for criminal activities, I’ll also admit to having a series of bogus email addresses (Dwayne Pipes is a personal favourite), access to a series of PO boxes as well as various SIM cards on different networks.
However, I do use the burner phone for making test purchases. Whether that be product samples that need sending for analysis/authentication or products or services that are purchased on-line/delivered. You would be surprised how many companies try to do this themselves and make a right hash of it…
